How to practice confidence and create new models

Achieving your dreams or accomplishing task that you currently have no confidence in but want to get good at takes effort!

Paying attention to your mind - making conscious decisions of what you want to believe and what you want to think - requires effort too.

And our natural tendency is that we want to avoid effort. We love things to be easy; we want someone to just give it to us.

But that doesn’t make us stronger or better. It would not help us evolve into a better version of ourselves.

That is only accomplished through effort.

Are you willing to make the effort and notice your patterns?

Are you willing to notice what the effects of these patterns are?

Are you willing to decide if you want to continue to do that or if you want to deliberately think of something different?

Are you willing to decide what you want your opinion of yourself to be?

Do you want to continuously do that and grow?

These questions are especially important for older women. Young people have a much more future focused mindset and know that there will be challenges ahead if they want to achieve their goals.

However as we get older we often feel that our best years are already behind us that we can no longer grow or accomplish new things.

Nothing is further from the truth.

As older women we can take all that we have learned from all the years that we have been on this planet and evolve.

But it’s important to have a future focused mindset and not linger in the past. Make a conscious effort to generate that in yourself if you’ve lost your drive to grow.

Conclusion

When we generate confidence in ourselves our thinking inspires action. The more action we take and the more we do in the world, the more we will feel accomplished and a sense of contribution.

Will you have done what you wanted to do?

Will you have taken the action you wanted to take or were you suffocated by too much self doubt?

Remember, when you continue to feel self doubt, it just means that you’re growing.

It means you’re evolving and growing and ask something of yourself. The bigger your goals, the bigger that self doubt is going to be.

That’s a beautiful thing because when it comes up, you can own it and then you can change it. On the other side of every accomplishment you will have even more confidence.

If you fully believe that, you can do anything you set your mind to.

What do you think about when you think about yourself?

I want you to think about how amazing you are and how very capable.

You’re right on track to become the person that you want to be.

Have fun exploring all you can be in this month's training!
